Open since late September, 2009 Restaurant Martin has quickly become a local favorite. Featuring the award-winning cuisine of Chef Martin Rios, Restaurant Martin offers an outstanding dining experience in one of Santa Fe's historic adobe homes. While Restaurant Martin is relatively new, Chef Martin's reputation in Santa Fe is well established in the world of fine dining cuisine. Prior to opening his own restaurant he was the Executive Chef of Geronimo, Inn of The Anasazi, a Rosewood Hotel, and The Old House Restaurant. In the short time since opening Restaurant Martin has been featured in The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Dallas Morning News, The Los Angeles Times and The Boston Globe. The restaurant has also been named a semi-finalist for The James Beard Best New Restaurant in the US award, featured in an upcoming episode of the Cooking Channel's "United Tastes of America" and Chef Martin has been invited to be a guest Chef to The James Beard Awards Gala in May, 2011.
